GYM GYM and more GYM
I recently started working again, with a much better paycheck might I add. So I was excited to sign up my love and myself at the local LA Fitness. It's a very good gym, and I like the fact that I pay weekly for us, instead of monthly. I can basically cancel at any time. Needless to say, today was my first official day back at the gym. I spent a total of doing 25 minutes of cardio (I know it's not a lot) and boy when I tell you my legs hurt, they burn! I also stopped at my local GNC and got some whey protein, which is an excellent after workout beverage to have, also makes and excellent replacement meal for Justin while he is at work, considering he does not get breaks. I realized going into it this time that my views have somewhat changed.....Meaning even thought weight loss is a major factor in this, but more importantly being healthy and becoming a healthy role model for my nieces and nephew is the real reason. I can crash diet until my hearts content, I can get a surgery to correct the issue, but what it truly boils down to is changing my life. All facets of it. I'm sick of the excuse I have used on so many occasions that I have no time, or eating healthy is expensive, the truth is we look for any excuse to avoid what we should be doing. I am done. This is the new me, love me or hate me.
